• Technical data and analytics Our hosting and analytics tools record browser type, device category, approximate region, referring page, and which lessons or articles were opened. This is aggregated and used to see which modules need rewriting.
• Cookies and similar storage Small cookies keep your session active and remember display preferences such as text size. Analytics cookies are separate and can be refused in your browser without losing access to any learning material.
• Why we process it To answer your enquiry, deliver the module you signed up for, fix broken pages, and meet accounting and legal obligations connected to running the academy. We do not sell personal data or pass it to advertisers.
• Who else touches the data Our web host, email provider, and form handling service act as processors on our instructions. Each is bound by a data processing agreement, and none may reuse your details for their own purposes.
• How long we keep it Enquiry messages are held for as long as the conversation is active and then for a further period needed for records. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form. You can ask us to delete your message earlier.
• Your rights You can request a copy of what we hold, ask for corrections, request deletion, receive your data in a portable format, or withdraw consent for analytics at any time. We respond to these requests directly.
• No misleading claims We describe modules by their content and level only. We do not publish invented reviews, fake urgency, or guarantees of employment, and we state clearly that BudgetCode Academy is an independent learning platform with no official affiliation to any vendor or certification body.
