Scope of the service

BudgetCode Academy publishes structured learning material on programming fundamentals, software engineering concepts, and digital technology practice. Modules, code samples, and reading lists are provided for individual study and classroom use. We do not deliver accredited qualifications, and completing a module does not certify professional competence. Course outlines may be revised as tooling and language versions change, and we will note material updates on the relevant module page.

Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you register with and for keeping your sign-in credentials private. Sharing an account across several people, scraping module content, or republishing exercises as your own teaching material is not permitted. Discussion areas exist for technical questions and code review; harassment, spam, and posting of unrelated commercial offers will be removed. We may suspend access where these rules are repeatedly broken.

Your work and our material

Code you write while working through a module remains yours. By posting a solution or question in a shared thread, you allow other learners to read and discuss it. Text, diagrams, and exercise sets produced by BudgetCode Academy stay under our copyright, though you may quote short extracts with a link back to the source page. Third-party libraries referenced in examples keep their own licences, and it is your job to check those before using them in a project.

Limits of responsibility

Learning material is offered as it stands. We check examples against current language versions, but we cannot guarantee that every snippet runs unchanged in your environment, or that a technique suits a particular production system. BudgetCode Academy is not liable for lost work, missed deadlines, or decisions taken on the basis of a tutorial. Where a module touches on security, data handling, or deployment, treat it as guidance and verify against your own project requirements.

Ending access and changes to these terms

You may close your account at any time by writing to the address below. We may end or restrict access where terms are breached, or where a module is retired. If these terms change in a way that affects how you use the platform, the revised version will be published on this page with a new effective date, and continued use after that date counts as acceptance. Questions about interpretation, permissions, or takedown requests should go to our contact address.
